Job summary

iNovate Solutions in Oviedo/Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support Army virtual training systems development, integration, testing, fielding, and sustainment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in systems engineering with TADSS or simulation software, plus planning, requirements analysis, DoDAF/MBSE, and RMF coordination. On-site work is required with travel as mission dictates.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience with TADSS, simulation systems, or DoD training systems.
• Experience with planning, requirements analysis, requirements traceability, system integration, verification, validation, and T&E.
• Familiarity with DoDAF architecture and MBSE tools/methods.
• Experience supporting Army/DoD test and evaluation activities.
• Ability to work primarily on-site in Oviedo/Orlando, FL and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply SoSE and Product-Line Engineering to support interoperability of virtual training devices.
• Develop, review, and maintain Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs) and artifacts.
• Perform requirements analysis for VR/AR and training systems.
• Support requirements decomposition, allocation, verification, validation, and traceability.
• Use DoDAF architecture products and MBSE approaches/tools.
• Coordinate RMF process with IA/Cybersecurity personnel and maintain ATOs.
• Provide oversight of testing and field activities; support test planning and readiness.
• Support FCA and PCA to verify as-built conformance to government specs.
• Collaborate with military analysts, logisticians, cybersecurity staff, and users to translate needs into requirements.
• Review technical documentation and contractor deliverables.
• Identify process improvements to reduce rework and lifecycle costs.
