Job summary

Bridge Defense seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to maintain and enhance applications, microservices, and PaaS, supporting intelligence analysis and operators. You will guide system architecture, requirements, and integration across complex hardware/software systems, ensuring technical integrity and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Active TOP SECRET/SCI with CI polygraph
• DoD 8570 IA Technical (IAT) Level 2 or IAM Level 2
• Experience with DoD/DIA DevSecOps processes
• Experience with multiple configuration management tools
• Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS architecture builds, Cloud, full-stack, OpenShift, and Java
• Familiar with GitLab, Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, Nexus, Jenkins and other DevSecOps tools
• Analytical and able to prioritize needs, requirements, and issues

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, high level system architectures, and develop system requirements specifications
• Lead design and development activities for complex systems
• Guide users in defining requirements, assess feasibility, and propose alternatives
• Provide technical leadership for requirements integration and technology
• Incorporate new designs into ongoing operations
• Develop system architecture and design documentation
• Plan system engineering management and test plans
• Interact with Government on SE considerations and issues
• Ensure technical integrity of SE deliverables
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and executives
