Job summary

Bridge Defense seeks a highly qualified Database Engineer to maintain and enhance applications, services, and microservices for intelligence analysis and collection management. You will lead database structures, parser software, and data loading, aligning with cloud approaches and security policies.

Requires TOP SECRET/SCI with CI polygraph; DoD 8570 IA Level 2; experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Java, OpenShift, and DevSecOps tools.

Qualifications

Active TOP SECRET/SCI with a CI polygraph.
DoD 8570 IA Technical/Management Level 2 compliant.
DevSecOps experience on development teams.
Experience with multiple configuration management tools.
Understanding of Oracle, CENTOS, Cloud, OpenShift, PostgreSQL, and Java.
Familiar with GitLab, Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, Nexus, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

Lead database design, development, and information storage and retrieval.
Develop relational and/or OO databases, parser software, and loading tools.
Define long-range DB administration and design requirements.
Craft a database structure aligned with system architecture and security controls.
Work front-end of the lifecycle from requirements to IOC, including trade-offs.
Develop requirements from inception to conclusion for business IT domains.
Assist with system improvements, optimization, and maintenance.
Deliver training for government use of applications.
Create ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; evolve queries for master data.
