McBride Consulting seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the C3BM division at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role requires broad systems engineering expertise across DoD architecture, MBSE, and agile practices to enable sensor‑to‑shooter connectivity within multi‑domain defense programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 10 years of related experience with 5 years in a DoD setting.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jira.
• Ability to develop System Requirements Documents (SRDs) and related documentation.
• Familiarity with DoD architecture frameworks (UAF, DoDAF).
• Ability to translate technical specifications into operational impacts.
• Knowledge of the DoD DoDI 5000 series and the DoD acquisition lifecycle.
• Experience with the System Engineering V‑model and Agile systems engineering.
• MBSE experience (Cameo/MagicDraw), SysML modeling, and digital engineering integration.
• Ability to develop and analyze structural, behavioral, and parametric system models.
• Ability to conduct trade‑space analyses focusing on cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
• Experience in verification and validation planning and test matrix development.
• Ability to serve as a technical liaison across government program offices, contractors, and operators.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems, cost/performance management, Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition principles (DoDI 5000.02, 5000.75).

Responsibilities

• Serves a Mission Integration Team system architecture design and development engineers.
• Reviews current DoD architecture models and designs a migration path to a future state enabling sensor-to-shooter connectivity.
• Drives interconnectivity between represented PEOs and weapon systems.
• Captures as‑is and to‑be states driven by MIT stressing engagement scenarios.
• Engages joint and coalition communities to design and evaluate architectures connecting sensors to shooters.
• Develops and analyzes system models and performs trade‑space analyses.
