Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support AFLCMC/ESA at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role covers the acquisition lifecycle from requirements through disposal, working with DoD personnel and contractors to deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

The position requires an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and strong experience with MOSA, system modeling, ICDs, and tools like Rhapsody, Cameo, and SolidWorks. Some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret clearance.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Office 365, Rhapsody, Cameo, SysML, SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, test, operation, sustainment, and system disposal.
• Develop and publish RFPs and SOWs; participate in source selection.
• Coordinate with DoD government leadership and contractors to ensure compliant program execution.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

15 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoD
