Job summary

Amgen seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer - Project Delivery Lead to drive the digital transformation of manufacturing systems, leading MES/SCADA implementations and ensuring compliance with cGMP and data integrity.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, developing system specifications, and guiding validation activities. You will mentor users, support audits, and advance Industry 4.0 initiatives while collaborating with IT and vendor partners.

Qualifications

Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s in Engineering with 2–4 years of Manufacturing Systems/Automation experience
Experience leading MES, SCADA, Industry 4.0 implementations and related IT systems
Familiarity with cGMP, data integrity, cybersecurity, and validation processes

Responsibilities

Lead the digital transformation of manufacturing systems and drive innovation and operational excellence.
Guide the implementation and integration of MES, SCADA, Industry 4.0 solutions and other manufacturing IT systems.
Develop budgetary cost estimates for technology scope of capital projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements.
Create system documentation including user requirements, design specs, and test plans; coordinate validation activities.
Train users on system functionality and best practices; support audits and inspections with documentation.
