L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering to support the CMSS program in its Surveillance Systems division, focusing on sustainment of the current block 10.2 weapons system and future Meadowlands. The senior systems engineer will lead complex projects and manage requirements with lifecycle traceability.

Responsibilities include developing system architectures, maintaining technical baselines, and collaborating with Integrated Product Teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 4+ years; in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with requirements in DoD development or sustainment.

Responsabilités

• Translate customer capability needs into system requirements and manage allocation and traceability across the lifecycle
• Maintain and control technical baselines through development and management of system documentation
• Apply working knowledge of RF systems, components, and test capabilities to support system design and verification
• Develop and maintain system architecture models using Cameo, MagicDraw, or similar tools
• Create, update, and manage interface documentation, including ICDs and IDDs
• Perform systems engineering tasks related to obsolescence, including trade studies and lifecycle impact assessments
• Generate and update Air Force Technical Orders and support integration with IT/network architecture
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams in an Agile environment
