Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for the INTEL Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) to support Navy Key Management projects. You will lead system engineering, architecture design, integration, and verification while coordinating with internal teams and customer POCs to ensure requirements are met.

The role emphasizes documentation, use-case development, and technical leadership. The position may follow a 9/80 schedule with potential telework; up to five days per week on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field; 8+ years experience (will consider experience in lieu of a degree).
• DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Experience analyzing risks and navigating projects through established processes.
• Model-based systems engineering experience.
• Experience with database management software (MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, MSSQL).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and Agile methodologies.
• DoD 8570 Security+ (or equivalent) required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering, hardware, and software analysis to support Navy Key Management projects.
• Define and apply systems engineering processes to meet customer requirements.
• Manage requirements, including decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation for development and test teams.
• Define and develop System Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development.
• Participate in customer meetings, working groups, and technical interchange meetings.
• Prepare and review technical documentation (manuals, design specs, interface specs, user guides, data sheets).
• Possible 9/80 schedule; some teleworking may be available.
• Work at customer facilities up to 5 days a week.
