About the Role: As a Systems Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement Controls systems for renewable energy projects, including industrial-scale energy storage, PV solar, and wind power plants. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new controls features and capabilities for effective control and monitoring of processes under guidance of Controls Architect
• Develop project-specific controls features as needed under guidance of Controls Architect.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of networking and communications protocols including MODBUS, OPC-UA, and DNP3.
• Utilize programming languages such as Structured Text (IEC61131) for control system and development and relevant system automation.
• Perform in-depth analysis and optimization of power systems integration within control systems.
• Mentorship of Level I and Level II

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in technical or engineering roles, preferably in renewable energy. Expertise in communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA/DA, DNP-3), and controls engineering and SCADA is a plus.
• Education: A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like IEC61131 structured text. Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal abilities.
• Certifications: Ignition Gold certification within six months of hire. OSHA 10 certification is also required.
