Technology Service Corporation in Dahlgren, VA is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer VI-Principal to support NSWCDD V Department. The role focuses on integrating AEGIS/Warfare System elements into baselines and leading certification activities.

Responsibilities include conducting certification assessments per PEO IWS, generating reports, and briefing senior DoD personnel. A DoD Secret Clearance is required, with 12+ years in combat systems engineering and a STEM degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 12 years of General Surface Navy Combat Systems engineering experience.
• Current DoD Secret Clearance.
• BS STEM Degree or 15 Years U.S. Navy surface warfare experience in lieu of Stem Degree.

Responsibilities

• System and engineering support for the integration of AWS elements into certified AWS and BMD baselines.
• Perform Combat System certification assessments per PEO IWS policy, including evaluating mission effectiveness, capabilities, and risks.
• Gather, assess, and maintain artifacts for Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for certification.
• Generate certification-related documentation and briefing materials, and communicate with senior DoD/DoN personnel.
• Provide recommendations to improve processes and tools to support enterprise certification.
