Job summary

BCore is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer for Warrenton or Tysons, VA. The role requires hands-on expertise across infrastructure, platforms, and cloud-to-on-prem environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and security for mission-critical systems.

The candidate will lead architecture documentation, future-state designs, and implementation plans, collaborating across DevSecOps, network, and data teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a demanding government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and experience.
• Minimum ten (10) years of related systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience across infrastructure, cloud, and application ecosystems; ownership of system reliability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Systems Engineer with deep expertise across infrastructure, platforms, and application ecosystems; analyze as-is systems, document architectures, design future-state solutions, and implement end-to-end improvements.
