Lincoln Computer Services in Hicksville, NY is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Managed Services team. This hands‑on role supports client environments, designs and deploys on‑premises and cloud solutions, and travels to client locations as needed.

The ideal candidate has extensive Windows Server administration, Citrix, VMware/Hyper‑V, and cloud experience with Azure and AWS. This position requires office presence in Hicksville with client onsite work.

Formación

• 7+ years of hands‑on systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with Windows Server administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and server builds.
• Strong experience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong hands‑on experience supporting Citrix environments.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Hyper‑V.
• Experience supporting and deploying workloads within Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with server and infrastructure migrations.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewalls, storage, and general networking concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior‑level technical support for client infrastructure environments.
• Design, build, configure, migrate, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual servers, including server builds and migrations.
• Support and administer Citrix environments, including VAD/VDI and related infrastructure.
• Manage virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper‑V.
• Implement and support cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Support hybrid environments spanning on‑premises and public cloud platforms.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot complex server, application, authentication, network, storage, and performance issues.
• Perform migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resiliency solutions.
• Provide escalation support for Help Desk and other engineering teams.
• Participate in client‑facing technical meetings and provide infrastructure improvement recommendations.
