Cordis in the United States invites an experienced IT Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support our enterprise IT infrastructure. The role emphasizes Linux, Windows, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and collaboration with MSPs to deliver robust architectures.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations, participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, and help advance secure, scalable infrastructure across global environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/SE or related field.
• At least 5 years of Linux, Windows, and Cloud engineering experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Linux, backup and DR in public/private cloud environments.
• Manage asset inventory, configurations, and security controls.
• Collaborate with MSPs to deliver Linux, Windows, and cloud architectures.
• Support day-to-day operations and strategic IT initiatives.
• Ensure security policies and vendor relationships are maintained.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and after-hours support.
• Contribute to enterprise disaster recovery exercises.
• Analyze and improve current IT and business processes.
• Represent the team on committees and in content/procedure governance.
