We are seeking Cryptographic Operations Manager – COMSEC/KMI for the Department of State COMSEC IT Services contract.

The Cryptographic Operations Manager – COMSEC/KMI will lead cryptographic operations, engineering, lifecycle support, and modernization activities supporting the Department of State COMSEC mission. The role requires deep expertise in cryptographic operations, CMCS, Key Management Infrastructure, and cryptographic modernization.

The PWS identifies cryptographic modernization, KMI, lifecycle engineering, and COMSEC infrastructure as central elements of the requirement.

Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of cryptographic operations and/or cryptographic engineering experience.
• Experience with CMCS.
• Experience with KMI.
• Experience with Cryptographic Modernization.
• Experience with NIST 800-53.
• Experience with security control lifecycles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Certifications

• PMP or program management experience/certification.

AND

• Security+ certification.

AND

• CISSP certification or equivalent within 6 months of hire

Clearance

• Active Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive Department of State or DoD COMSEC experience.
• Experience with Type 1 cryptographic equipment and key-management environments.
• Experience leading classified technical operations teams.
• Experience with COMSEC accountability and cryptographic lifecycle management.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $170,000 - $215,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
