Job summary

Platform Aerospace in Maryland seeks a Systems Engineer III to support Group 3 UAS avionics and payload integrations, including electrical systems, advanced networking, and software development throughout the complete system development lifecycle. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience, or
Master's degree in STEM with 2+ years of related experience, or
9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Analyze, decompose, translate, and develop requirements for system modifications and integration of new payloads into existing platforms.
Work closely with technical team leads to accomplish project objectives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Manage and maintain technical design documentation, engineering records, and operational manuals.
Support design quality efforts by ensuring project planning is completed with the appropriate level of detail and engineering processes are followed.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate implementation strategies, schedules, and resource allocation to support multiple concurrent objectives.
Support system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
