Job summary

Glydways is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own the integration of new GATN features on the Glydways track network. You will design requirements, verify safety functions, and drive test campaigns from log data and dashboards.

The role requires hands-on work at the track, coordination across teams, and delivering robust, safe system changes. Ideal candidates have hardware/software systems experience, strong documentation skills, and a proven ability to turn ambiguity into concrete test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant industry.
• 1+ years of experience in systems integration and test for complex hardware/software systems.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and drive alignment without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience planning and executing integration or systems-level test campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Own feature landing for GATN: design, plan and execute integration of new system capabilities on the track.
• Define and run integration scenarios: exercise safety functions and operational workflows.
• Improve regression and mileage test suites and coverage criteria for GATN features.
• Guardrail and safety-function health: review logs and track behavior to judge health and recommend changes.
• Drive release readiness: define entry/exit criteria for on-track testing and go-live decisions.
• Coordinate multi-vehicle and multi-site integration across project sites and customer locations.
• Translate requirements into track reality: write system-level requirements and CONOPs for GATN.
• Triage and root cause issues: lead technical triage and drive to documented resolutions.
• Improve integration process and tooling: identify gaps in test infrastructure and tooling.
