Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience supporting and implementing technology environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to deliver high quality customer service while balancing priorities.
• Experience presenting technical information and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provides architectural recommendations and implements strategic IT solutions.
• Monitors emerging technologies and assesses applicability for future architecture.
• Leads capacity and performance analysis for batch and online environments.
• Designs and proposes solutions for complex service requests and incidents.
• Oversees implementation of solutions and ensures project deliverables.
• Ensures security requirements are integrated into project plans.
• Oversees security of desktops and servers in coordination with HIT ITS teams.
• Coordinates with IT staff and partners across functions on dependencies.
• Partners with clients and vendors to manage risks and communicate options.
• Prepares comprehensive technical documentation for knowledge transfer.
• Mentors junior team members and supports tool adoption.
• Coordinates patching and vulnerability remediation on assigned systems.
• Oversees user accounts and access management; enforces security policies.
