USC is seeking a Manager, Cyber Architecture to lead the cybersecurity department and collaborate with university stakeholders. The role reports to the Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering and is remote, full-time with USC benefits.

The position oversees security architecture across the university, ensuring IT system integrity and regulatory compliance, while guiding teams in implementing security strategies and incident response.

Qualifications

• 7 years in security architecture design and network security or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience accepted.
• Extensive security architecture design experience and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies and solutions.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices across environments.
• Familiarity with OT architecture requirements and data center tech.
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise security solutions and policies.
• SDLC/IDLC processes integrated with security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Manage assessments and recommend security solutions at enterprise or local level, including research security.
• Lead development and execution of the university's security architecture.
• Direct teams to implement strategies and ensure compliance.
• Provide technical security insights and monitor security metrics.
• Shape policies and align architecture with risk management goals.
