Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer and Strategist to design and develop system architectures, define capabilities, and set performance requirements for complex mission systems spanning hardware, RF, cyber, and software domains.

This role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, experience with DoD/IC programs, and strong integration and communication skills. Local travel up to 10% isn’t excessive and the position is full-time with opportunities to shape national security projects.

Qualifications

  • Must have hands-on experience with hardware and software tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate complex systems.
  • Experience with RF and SIGINT systems.
  • Understanding of Targeting and TCPED for technology roadmaps and design planning.
  • Excellent communications with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience with policy, security and cyber standards.
  • Experience in DoD and Intelligence Community environments.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.

The Opportunity:

Responsible for designing and developing system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements for solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines. These solutions or products may require hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge in order to design, develop, and support them. Defines total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements. Develops system element architecture and design and interface definitions. Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development. Provides technical direction related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$114,600-$252,100
