Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an aerospace professional to support the Air Mobility & Maritime Mission Airworthiness Team. You will engage in certification planning and artifact preparation, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to satisfy airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, traveling for discussions with authorities, and ensuring compliance across design and programmatics while maintaining high attention to detail and strong communication with

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
  • Three or more years of professional experience in Aero, Mechanical, Electrical, or related industry.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead internal and external discussions to agree on a project's certification approach.
  • Travel domestically and abroad for in-person Airworthiness meetings with a Nation's Airworthiness Authority.
  • Prepare data artifacts such as Certification Basis, Compliance Reports, Configuration Verification Reports, and Certificate of Design.
