Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting critical U.S. Air Force weapon system programs.

You will collaborate with the government program office and other stakeholders to develop acquisition and sustainment strategies and assist in milestone preparation across all lifecycle stages. The role requires an active SECRET clearance, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and at least six years of relevant engineering experience.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in any engineering discipline.
• SIX+ years engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-performing team supporting U.S. Air Force weapon system programs.
• Collaborate with government program office staff and stakeholders to develop acquisition and sustainment strategies.
• Assist Government in milestone preparations across all lifecycle stages.
• Evaluate prime/subcontractor recommendations and related documents (ACSNs, ECPs, CCPs, FAA Bulletins).
• Prepare/coordinate engineering analyses and acquisition planning documents (RFI/RFQ/RFP).
• Perform engineering support documentation (evaluations, studies, reports, airworthiness products).
• Analyze equipment/software requirements, designs, integration, tests, and deficiencies; propose solutions.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and certification activities.
