Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Systems Engineer 3 to support AI-focused cloud and platform engineering efforts. You will analyze requirements, design systems, plan technically, document comprehensively, and integrate new capabilities into operations with emphasis on cloud architecture, AI/ML systems, security, and data lifecycle management.

You will lead design, develop technical docs, guide stakeholders, and interface with government personnel while maintaining technical integrity across deliveries.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience in systems engineering sufficient to meet education/experience pathways.
• Ability to analyze requirements, support system design, and develop technical documentation.
• Ability to support system development, implementation planning, and systems integration/test planning.
• Ability to interact with Government stakeholders and communicate with technical and senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interface with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Maintain responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
