Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 3 (Release Train Engineer/Agile Leader) to join the Advanced Programs group in Boulder, CO. You will drive Agile practices across multiple teams, coordinate program increments, and ensure alignment with stakeholders while maintaining rigorous documentation and governance.

The role requires a Secret clearance, STEM degree, and experience with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of related experience or a Master’s with 3+ years or a PhD with 1+ year.
• Excellent technical writing skills for analysis and reports.
• Experience leading Agile teams and hands-on Jira experience.
• Experience with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Agile practices for an AP program.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead program increments and PI events.
• Coordinate Jira/Confluence workflows across multiple teams and work centers.
• Ensure Jira mappings align with SOW tasks to Epics and stories per PI cadence.
• Identify bottlenecks, dependencies, and opportunities to standardize processes.
• Prepare and deliver program documentation and status reporting.
