Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Boulder, CO, seeks a Software Engineer – Level 2/3 to manage IT infrastructure, security compliance, and lab environments. The role involves onboarding to secure environments, OS account control, and virtualization oversight.

The candidate will work with Red Hat Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools, with travel up to 10%. A Secret clearance and Security+ certification are required at start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM required or Master’s with experience
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance at start is required
• Experience as a systems administrator in Linux/Red Hat environments
• CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT/IAM II certification required

Responsibilities

• Manage a lab of hardware and software
• Operate lab environments through secure onboarding to different levels
• Perform OS account management and vLab management
• Monitor firmware upgrades and cybersecurity posture
• Collaborate with supply chain, facilities, and security for compliant hardware
