Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace's Anthem Integrated Flight Deck team in Phoenix is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer on a hybrid schedule. You will lead design, integration and verification of core Displays Apps on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional peers to deliver safe, scalable cockpit solutions. You will drive model-based design using Simulink, craft robust test cases, and ensure compliance with industry standards while advancing innovative avionics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems, or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Experience with Simulink or similar model-based design tool.
• Familiarity with the NGA System Architecture.
• Experience with IMA IO and IO Scheduling Tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC).

Responsibilities

• Validate, integrate, and verify cutting-edge technologies.
• Craft dynamic model-based system designs using Simulink.
• Develop Arinc 661 graphics for cockpit displays.
