Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Shelby, NC invites a Systems Engineer, Lead, to develop electromechanical and hydromechanical actuation solutions for aerospace programs. You will manage system requirements, architect subsystems, and generate design documentation for proposals and certifications.

Responsibilities include developing simulation models in Matlab/Simulink, supporting DO-178/DO-254 certified software and electronics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams through design reviews.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in systems engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering methodology and problem-solving skills; effective communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Work within product development teams to support mechanical and electronic design from proposal to qualification.
• Develop and maintain system requirements databases using IBM DOORS per customer specifications for certified software and actuation systems.
• Perform requirements capture, analysis, validation, allocation, traceability, compliance, and verification.
• Develop subsystem architectures based on required functionality and performance.
• Create simulation models using Matlab/Simulink/Simscape to predict performance and support design iterations.
• Generate documentation for proposals and development programs including subtier specifications and DES.
