The Senior Systems Engineer provides application operations support and application ownership for production-critical applications used at vehicle and propulsion manufacturing sites. Using Site Reliability Engineering practices, this role helps ensure application availability, reliable performance, effective monitoring, and timely issue resolution.
You will work across Linux, Windows, Kubernetes, cloud, Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL environments. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, support deployments, maintain documentation, and deliver reliable services to manufacturing operations.
This role supports production-critical applications used by manufacturing operations. The position may require support during critical production periods, non-traditional working hours, deployments, patch releases, and on-call coverage. The role provides remote technical support to manufacturing sites and may require work from a designated company facility according to the approved work arrangement.
