General Motors seeks entry‑level Software Engineers to join data software engineering and cloud teams. You will help build and support scalable data platforms and cloud services used across business‑critical products and analytics.
You’ll work with engineers to design, implement, test, and deploy features, gaining hands‑on experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and production workflows. Hybrid work with multiple U.S. offices is available.

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to offices in Austin, TX, Warren, MI or Seattle, WA three times per week, at minimum.
We are seeking entry-level Software Engineers to join teams across GM’s Data Software Engineering and Cloud organizations. In these roles, you will contribute to the development, deployment, and support of reliable, scalable data platforms and cloud services that enable business-critical products, applications, analytics, and engineering workflows. You will work alongside experienced software, data, and cloud engineers to build services and tools for data ingestion, processing, storage, serving, and platform automation. This is an opportunity to grow your software‑engineering skills while gaining hands‑on experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and large‑scale data platforms.
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws.
