Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems in Pittsfield, MA, seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to join a cross-functional team delivering a submarine Fire Control System upgrade. You will contribute to requirements management, documentation control, testing, verification, and validation, and you will mentor engineering staff as needed.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field, 5+ years of experience (or a master’s with 3 years), and be able to obtain a DoD Secret

• Experience in Agile environments preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Requirements

Must have:

• We require a bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics discipline.
• We require 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or a masters degree plus 3 years of related experience.
• We prefer experience working in Agile environments.
• You must be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable time after hire.
• You must be eligible for a government security investigation and access to classified information.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
