About The Role

Carrier is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the development and deployment of Systems Engineering workflow and toolset across Carrier. Our global Engineering team is advancing to maintain Carrier’s lead position in the market through investments in advanced research, technologies and methods that will shape the future of our products and services. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall systems strategy & roadmap across Carrier, working with all business units, provide support and guidance to various technical teams and approve common work practices.
• Provide expertise in the decomposition of customer specifications and system‑level requirements into sub‑system and piece part requirements, and make recommendations for the generation of verification criteria and plans for the requirements.
• Research and evaluate industry COTS and open source tools and develop best practices to improve the System engineering discipline across Carrier.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in a technical field with 5+ years of system engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical expert in the Systems V process and the development/deployment of systems engineering in the areas of robust requirements definition, Traceability, Configuration Management, System Architecture, System verification/validation methods (e.g. HIL, MIL, SIL, Lab testing) and integration of systems engineering workflows/tools.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities – technical leadership and technology project management
• Experience in several systems engineering and related toolsets - Jazz DOORS/RTC/RQM/DM, Atlassian, DevOps, SysML, Rhapsody, Matlab/Simulink, HPQC highly desired
• Experience in controls design/verification process, system architecture modeling, and embedded software engineering.
• Experience in HVAC and Refrigeration products preferred
