Job summary

Motive Workforce in New Kensington, PA, is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise IT across a multi-site manufacturing environment. The role owns complex escalations and leads infrastructure modernization, cloud initiatives, and enterprise technology projects.

You will oversee hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, M365, VMware), manage Entra ID and identity controls, and support Windows Server through 2022. A strong background in regulated environments and IT security is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years enterprise IT experience delivering complex systems.
• 5+ years Microsoft Azure administration experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 experience including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender, Exchange.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, hybrid identity, and Windows Server through 2022.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 enterprise environments, upgrade planning, and mixed deployments.
• Experience designing hybrid, multi-forest, multi-tenant, and multi-cloud environments.
• Hands-on exposure to regulated environments (Azure Government, GCC High, AWS GovGov, FedRAMP, ITAR).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, prioritization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex hardware, software, endpoint, identity, and infrastructure issues.
• Lead system migrations, upgrades, new implementations, and modernization projects from design through handoff.
• Design and support hybrid environments across Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, VMware, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Administer Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, identity governance, and least-privilege access controls.
• Support Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage Windows 10/11 endpoints and Windows Server environments through Server 2022.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, virtualization, and hybrid identity.
• Design and support Fortinet networks, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and wireless infrastructure.
• Support cloud migrations, and tenant-to-tenant/ post-acquisition integrations.
• Implement automation and scripting to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
• Create SOPs, knowledge-base articles, and technical documentation.
• Mentor IT team members and provide clear technical guidance.

This hands-on senior role supports enterprise IT across a multi-site manufacturing environment. The position owns complex technical escalations while leading infrastructure modernization, cloud initiatives, and enterprise technology projects.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex hardware, software, endpoint, identity, and infrastructure issues.
• Lead system migrations, upgrades, new implementations, and modernization projects from design through operational handoff.
• Design and support hybrid environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, VMware, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, identity governance, and least-privilege access controls.
• Support Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, and other Microsoft 365 services.

What You Bring

Location and Compensation

• New Kensington, PA
• Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
• Base salary: $91,000- $135,000 annually
• Potential annual incentive and long-term incentive compensation
