Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer III to provide hands-on support for enterprise infrastructure in Colorado Springs. The role covers physical, virtual, cloud, server, storage, backup, and enterprise systems, with on-site work and an on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and cloud technologies, plus strong troubleshooting and ITSM background. This is a 3-6 month contract position based onsite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, VMware, Microsoft 365/O365, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, backup/disaster recovery, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Experience supporting Tier 2/3 infrastructure issues in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with ticket-based ITSM/service management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and resource utilization.
• Support hybrid Exchange environments and enterprise infrastructure tools.
• Work with ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams on escalated issues and projects.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Job Overview

Senior Infrastructure Engineer III, Location: Colorado Springs, CO, Work Arrangement: Onsite, Duration: 3-6 Months, Contract.

Seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer III to provide hands-on support for enterprise infrastructure and data center environments. This role will manage, troubleshoot, maintain, and support physical, virtual, cloud, server, storage, backup, and enterprise systems.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• CJIS certification is preferred or must be obtainable within 90 days.
