Actalent is seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer to join an 18-month project in Ann Arbor, MI, with potential for further work. You will lead controls design, PLC/HMI programming, and execution in manufacturing and process automation environments.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in industrial automation and expertise in Rockwell Studio 5000/RSLogix, with experience in HMI development and commissioning support. This is a contract-to-hire role located onsite in a data center setting in Saline, MI.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in industrial automation.
• Strong Rockwell Studio 5000/RSLogix programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with HMI development.
• Experience in PLC code and logic troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in integration, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.

This role involves leading controls design, PLC/HMI programming, and project execution in manufacturing and process automation environments. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in industrial automation, expertise in Rockwell Studio 5000/RSLogix programming, and experience with HMI development. Experience with Ignition SCADA is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
