We require a strong background in architecture definition, leadership, and stakeholder management, with 10+ years of related experience and familiarity with SEIT/MBSE toolchains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with architecture definition and design concepts.
• 5+ years of experience with MSOSA.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience with PDM/MOM/ERP integrations, middleware, ICDs, and digital thread concepts.
• 5+ years of experience with SEIT and ALM toolchains.
• 5+ years of experience with analytical, risk management, and process measurement skills.
• 5+ years of experience in communication and stakeholder management.
• 5+ years of experience coordinating with IT security and applying security constraints.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively across subsystems within the Sapphire program and with IPTs to apply common products, processes, and tools to plan, design, develop, and verify complex software applications systems.
• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements and interfaces.
• Performs analyses to optimize the total system of systems and architecture.
• Identify unassigned scope and distribute it properly.
• Participate in cross-functional and cross-IPT issue resolution.
• Lead system and subsystem level trades including technical, cost, schedule aspects.
• May lead SEIT level duties such as RIO/TRB boards.
• Ensure compliance by integrating SOW and technical specs into IPT workflow.
• Create requirements and MBSE infrastructures and derive traceability down to lower levels.
• Forecast and track requirements compliance activities.
• Plan and execute Sapphire system engineering events (RRC, PDRs, CDRs) and ensure entrance/exit criteria.
• Represent Sapphire in events led by other IPTs (Test and Production Readiness).
• Support program in additional evolving roles.
• Position may require up to 20% travel.
