Job summary

Falls Technology seeks an on-site architect/PM in McLean, VA, to consolidate IT applications and systems for a federal mission. You will plan phased rollouts, establish design-system standards, and drive Agile adoption so product teams ship with less O&M drag.

Responsibilities include coordinating design, engineering and product stakeholders; QA for technical docs; creating a reference architecture; and leading UX/UI improvements to reduce O&M and accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Experience coordinating design, engineering and product stakeholders.
• Quality assurance for technical documentation (usage guidelines, API docs, migration guides, changelogs).
• Ability to drive adoption initiatives across product teams.
• Experience managing design-system or component-library projects.
• Project management with both waterfall and Agile methods.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and Agile delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Build a phased project plan to consolidate IT support and development.
• Develop an Agile methodology implementation plan with sponsor adoption.
• Create a document-management plan with storage locations and versioning.
• Produce a service-management plan for tiered support.
• Define a reference architecture for cross-application adoption.
• Coordinate design, engineering and product stakeholders; drive adoption initiatives.
• Lead QA for technical documentation (usage guidelines, API docs, migration guides, changelogs).
• Manage design-system work and propose UX/UI improvements to reduce O&M and speed delivery.
• Analyze and document web apps, systems, services and interfaces for future development.
• Manage user-support processes and brief SOPs and system security plans.
• Work core hours 0900–1500 on site.
