Job description

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required. U.S. citizenship required.

Location: On-site in McLean, VA (Full-Time).

Own the architecture that consolidates how a federal national-security mission runs its applications and systems. You'll plan the phased rollout, stand up design-system and documentation standards, and drive Agile adoption so product teams ship with less O&M drag.

What you’ll do
  • Build a phased project plan (roles and resource projections) to consolidate IT technical support and development across applications and systems
  • Develop an Agile methodology implementation plan with clear roles for sponsor adoption
  • Create a document-management plan covering required docs, storage locations and versioning for applications and systems
  • Produce a service-management plan for tiered support across applications and systems
  • Define a reference architecture for adoption across applications and systems
  • Coordinate design, engineering and product stakeholders; drive adoption initiatives across product teams
  • Lead quality assurance for technical documentation (usage guidelines, API docs, migration guides, changelogs, user support materials)
  • Manage design-system or component-library work and propose UX/UI improvements that reduce O&M and speed delivery
  • Analyze and document web applications, systems, services and interfaces (including databases and APIs) to guide future development
  • Manage user-support processes (triage, escalation, knowledge base) and brief SOPs, workflows, architectural diagrams and system security plans
  • Work core hours 0900–1500 on site
What you bring (required)
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Coordinating design, engineering and product stakeholders
  • QA for technical documentation (usage guidelines, API docs, migration guides, changelogs, support materials)
  • Driving adoption initiatives across product teams
  • Managing design-system or component-library projects
  • Project management (waterfall and Agile), including leading software development teams
  • Accessibility standards and Agile delivery practices
  • Recommending UX/UI improvements that reduce O&M and increase quality and delivery speed
  • Analyzing and documenting web applications, systems, services and API/database interfaces
  • User-support process management (triage, escalation, knowledge base)
  • Writing and briefing IT support docs: SOPs, workflows, knowledge bases, deployment checklists, architecture diagrams, system security plans
Nice to have
