Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to lead architecture studies and MBSE efforts across cross-functional teams. You will assess concepts for cost, schedule, performance, and resilience, and mentor staff while coordinating with the program office and customers.

Applicants should have a PhD in engineering or related field with TS/SCI clearance or eligibility, strong communication, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in architecture studies of varying system complexity with cross-functional teams

• Develop MBSE and digital engineering capabilities
• Collaborate with program office, customer, and contractor to elicit needs and communicate status
• Mentor junior staff and support study scoping and execution
