Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience (or minimum 3 years with an MS degree).
• Experience with MBSE and requirements management tools (JAMA, Polarion, DOORS).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system requirements definition and management for a product.
• Flow KPAs to system requirements and traceability to hardware/software subsystems.
• Interface with customers to verify requirements are met by the system.
• Coordinate requirement flow-down to hardware/software subsystems with design teams.
• Collaborate with design engineering to capture system architecture in MBSE diagrams.
• Develop architectures for new solutions in proposals and manage architectural definition throughout development.
• Create interface control documents and manage interfaces between hardware, software, and firmware subsystems.
• Perform trade studies and quick-turn analyses for agile HW/SW/firmware development.
• Verify that system requirements are addressed by the design and maintain CM best practices.
• Facilitate multi-disciplinary coordination and participate in IV&V planning and preparation.
• Contribute technical writing and figures to proposals and business development efforts.
