Job summary

Epirus is a high-growth technology company pursuing advanced national-security software-defined power management. Epirus seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead full lifecycle system development, interacting across engineering disciplines.

The role focuses on requirements, architecture, interface management, and MBSE-driven IV&V planning to ensure product satisfaction. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, and contribute to MBSE

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience (or minimum 3 years with an MS).
• Experience with MBSE tools (JAMA, Polarion, DOORS) and MBSE diagrams.
• Experience with Python development or other object-oriented languages.
• Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system requirements definition and management for a product.
• Ensure Key Performance Parameters are flowed to system requirements.
• Coordinate requirement flow-down to hardware and software subsystems.
• Collaborate with design engineering to capture system architecture in MBSE diagrams (Structural and Behavioral).
• Develop interface control documentation and manage interfaces between hardware/software/firmware subsystems.
• Perform trade studies and quick-turn analyses to facilitate agile development.
• Participate in IV&V planning and preparation.
