Job summary

McBride Consulting is seeking a Senior General/Interdisciplinary Engineer to support AFLCMC/ES. This full-time role at Hanscom AFB involves leading architecture, systems engineering, and technical management across the lifecycle from analysis to sustainment.

Expect collaboration with government and contractor teams and travel up to 25%. The ideal candidate has DoD experience, ABET-accredited engineering education, and strong leadership with systems engineering expertise.

Qualifications

Requires BS in engineering from ABET-accredited university with 12 years exp in related field or 15 years in DoD- incl. 5+ in DoD.
Experience supporting engineering and technical efforts within DoD environments.
Must have DoD acquisition knowledge and systems engineering background.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, and analyze complex systems across lifecycle phases.
Prepare technical documentation and support CDR, MRA, TIM as needed.
Conduct system architecture analyses and ensure interoperability requirements are met.
Lead engineering reviews, risk assessments, and technical trade studies.
Provide expert guidance to leadership and government teams.
