Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the AFLCMC/ESG at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role covers system engineering across lifecycle stages for C2ISR and related domains, with responsibilities including reviews, trade studies, documentation, and risk analysis.

The position requires a US citizenship, a bachelor’s degree, and extensive DoD program experience. On-site work at Hanscom AFB, 8-5, with 0-10% travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline with at least 5 years supporting the DoW.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive program portfolio reviews to evaluate and recommend plans, enhance systems engineering processes, and design system-level tests.
• Review and evaluate plans, programs, designs, and test results to verify subsystem and system performance.
• Prepare technical documentation defining system/subsystem characteristics, reports, and presentations for planning and corrective actions.
• Perform system validations, including criteria and procedure development, and analyze major engineering results.
• Provide engineering support and training for programs, including acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment, fielding, and operations oversight.
• Support risk management activities in alignment with AF SEAM processes.
• Conduct formal trade studies on engineering performance, cost-performance, and lifecycle considerations.
• Analyze proposals to compare technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed systems.
