Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to lead architecture, integration, and sustainment of DoD enterprise systems within secure AWS GovCloud IL4/IL5 environments. The role requires DoD mission experience, TOGAF/DoDAF knowledge, and strong customer-facing leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, enterprise architecture, or DoD/federal environments.
• Experience architecting and implementing enterprise systems within AWS GovCloud.
• Leadership of technical teams and coordination with government customers and stakeholders.
• DoDAF/TOGAF or equivalent frameworks knowledge.
• Proven modernization, integration, and cloud transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise applications and infrastructure solutions hosted within AWS GovCloud IL4/IL5 environments.
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, system diagrams, and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership for cloud engineering, platform operations, infrastructure modernization, and release management.
• Establish architecture standards, roadmaps, and engineering best practices for secure, scalable operations.
• Lead architecture reviews and stakeholder engagements with government customers and executives.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and Zero Trust principles.
• Mentor technical staff and coordinate across engineering and operations teams.
• Communicate complex architectural decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
