The role requires 8+ years in DoD environments, extensive Appian and Java experience, and strong governance of architectural standards and DevSecOps practices, with cloud deployments on AWS/Azure and AI awareness.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years in systems architecture within DoD environments.
• Experience with Appian, Java, AWS EKS, and high-availability design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and secure cloud solutions.
• Ability to define standards and oversee lifecycle implementation.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain ACWS system architecture and technical vision.
• Set non-functional requirements and integration patterns for Agile teams.
• Guide decisions to ensure scalability, security, and interoperability.
• Assess feasibility and impact of new technologies.
• Communicate architecture plan and coordinate with partners and delivery teams.
