Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Subject Matter Expert I to support DOJ OJP OCIO Center of Excellence, focusing on portfolio governance, architecture, data integration, and DevOps. The role will design and integrate systems, develop architecture artifacts, evaluate solutions, and help product teams implement secure, interoperable capabilities across CX/HCD, cloud, DevSecOps, and engineering execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience designing, integrating, or supporting enterprise systems.
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM or similar portfolio-management platforms.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud architecture, DevSecOps, API management, or cybersecurity.
• Experience creating architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and implementation recommendations.
• Experience integrating systems via APIs and modern architectures.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud, Agile, CI/CD, automation, IaC, and secure development.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; eligible for Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate systems, applications, platforms, APIs, data services, and supporting tech capabilities.
• Develop architecture diagrams, standards, and interface definitions; provide guidance.
• Administer content in the Enterprise Architecture Repository and ServiceNow integration.
• Develop Alternatives Analyses for IT Demand requests and assess value, cost, risk, and security.
• Develop roadmaps aligned to current-state and target-state architectures.
• Provide coaching on architecture, Agile, engineering practices to stakeholders.
• Support governance forums with materials, minutes, and tracking.
