Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Subject Matter Expert I to support the DOJ’s OCIO Center of Excellence, focusing on portfolio governance, architecture, data integration, and DevOps. You will bridge business requirements with CX/HCD, architecture standards, and secure, cost-effective capabilities while guiding product teams through modern, interoperable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years of experience designing, integrating, architecting, modernizing, or supporting complex enterprise systems.
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM, portfolio or demand-management, or similar platforms.
• Expertise in enterprise/solution architecture, systems integration, data integration, cloud architecture, DevSecOps, API management, cybersecurity, or platform engineering.
• Experience developing architecture diagrams, models, standards, and implementation recommendations.
• Experience integrating systems via APIs, web services, IAM, and modern app architectures.
• Ability to translate business and customer needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud, Agile, CI/CD, automation, IaC, and secure development.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate systems, APIs, data services, and supporting capabilities within assigned areas.
• Support architecture activities and develop diagrams, interfaces, and implementation guidance.
• Maintain content in the Enterprise Architecture Repository and integrate with ServiceNow.
• Develop Alternatives Analyses for IT demands considering value, cost, security, and risk.
• Create roadmaps and recommendations aligned to current and target architectures.
• Support governance forums and prepare materials, agendas, and minutes.
