Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Mission Technologies division seeks a Manager of Systems Applications Analyst to support NSWCDD Dam Neck Training and Readiness systems and related FoS development. The role requires coordinating with customers, engineers, and sponsors to ensure timely delivery and quality of training-related projects.

You will participate in requirements analysis, prepare technical documentation, and help manage prototyping and design activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or management‑related field with four years of relevant progressive experience, or Master’s with two years, or high school with eight years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with government customers, contractors, and team members.
• Current or active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to coordinate travel, schedule events, and manage assets.
• Travel up to six times per year for approximately one week per trip.
• Coordinate scheduling changes with customers and stakeholders; lead in‑person meetings with engineers, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee day‑to‑day team operations, including workload management, task assignments, and timecard approvals.
• Standardize project products and ensure consistent quality across deliverables.
• Support engineering activities by providing prototyping documents and assisting in training system development.
• Participate in quarterly IPRs.
• Conduct requirements analysis and prepare documentation for new system designs.
• Plan and coordinate development of program documentation including technical specifications.
• Support the Lead System Engineer through RAWGs and IMS input.
• Prepare illustrative materials like drawings and diagrams.
