Job summary

The City of Scottsdale Planning and Development Department is seeking an experienced systems analyst to design, configure, script, and maintain enterprise applications that support development review, building safety, permitting, and land use planning.

You will work closely with department leadership, planners, inspectors, and other stakeholders to evaluate business processes, develop tech solutions, ensure data integrity and security, and deliver reliable, user-focused technology services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Five years of experience with computer-based information systems software and programming/scripting languages for medium to large enterprise applications.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced professional-level systems analysis, configuring, scripting and SQL development for information systems supporting Planning and Development operations.
• Design and maintain applications, integrations, reports and automated workflows; ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with department leadership, planners, engineers, plan reviewers, inspectors and other stakeholders to identify technology solutions.
