Job summary

New Mexico Mutual Casualty Company in Albuquerque seeks a Systems Analyst to plan, support and implement information systems, acting as a liaison between IT and business units to elicit and translate requirements into technical specifications. The role analyzes business processes, guides requirement formulation, and coordinates with development teams on timely solutions.

Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

BA/BS from accredited 4-year college/university in Computer Science, Management, or related field.
Seven or more years of related experience, preferably in workers’ compensation or other insurance environment.
Experience with ECM workflows and CRM integrations is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Guides users in formulating requirements; analyzes proposals and feasibility; recommends optimum approaches.
Manages application software, upgrades, patches, tuning, security, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Performs problem analysis and coordinates fixes with IT team; provides backup as required.
Provides project leadership; develops plans, leads teams, and evaluates effectiveness.
Develops procedures, tools and docs to ensure application integrity and availability.
