Job summary

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst for an onsite position at the Pentagon, supporting a government proposal. The role requires an Active Secret clearance and the ability to work in a high-security environment.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Systems Engineering and have at least 8 years of relevant experience; ITIL and/or CISSP certification is preferred as part of the defense-focused lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Systems Engineering.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• ITIL and/or CISSP certification preferred.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with requirements definition and refinement; process reengineering; evaluating COTS and GOTS software; and performing alternative system design reviews.
• Evaluating emerging IT capabilities including AI/ML, and presenting technical findings to the Government.
• Assisting with benchmarking, operational capability demonstration, and integration of program/portfolio management tools.
• Assisting with Business Process Reengineering and Enterprise Architecture to ensure NDAA-compliant modernization.
• Providing IT governance, security reviews, and IT audit support within the SAF/AQ portfolio.
• Supporting the IT portfolio management team to streamline the systems portfolio.
