Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support a mission-critical modernization program, delivering a modular software suite across warfighting functions. You will bridge requirements, architecture, and development teams in cloud and tactical edge environments, ensuring mission-effective solutions.

Based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, the role involves working in DDIL contexts and through the full SDLC from concept to fielding, with potential news of award in Fall 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Eight+ years of systems analysis or systems engineering experience in defense.
• Experience with SAFe/Scrum/Kanban and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose complex system architectures, workflows, and requirements to identify gaps and risks.
• Translate findings into actionable specifications and design inputs for architecture decisions.
• Serve as liaison between Government stakeholders, architects, developers, and end-users.
• Evaluate data flows, interfaces, performance, and interoperability across security domains.
• Support tactical edge configurations and DDIL operation modeling and validation.
• Participate in demonstrations, design reviews, and agile cycles with rapid assessment.
• Collaborate with vendors and SMEs to resolve performance risks and dependencies.
